Our School Governors

The school governing body has the general responsibility for the effective management of the school, acting within the framework of Government legislation and Hampshire Local Education Authority policies. Detailed decisions about the day to day running of the school are taken by the Headteacher who reports to and consults with the governing body on a regular basis. There are full governing body meetings at least twice a term at which main aspects of school life are discussed. Much of the work of the governing body is carried out by committees, which cover the following areas:

Governors now report to parents through the on-line School Profile. Details of how this can be accessed are available from the school.
