School Association

We are very proud of our active association of parents and staff, which supports the school in many ways. The aims of the association are:

  • To develop more extended relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the     school.

  • Engage in activities which support the school and advance the education of pupils attending it.

  • Provide and assist in the provision of facilities at the school.

Membership is automatic for parents with children attending the school, and the Committee is elected annually at the Autumn AGM. All the proceeds raised go towards the purchase of additional resources for our children to enjoy.

Our staging equipment and video camera were purchased thanks to the money raised by the School Association this year and we are currently working towards providing new playground seating and markings.

We organise a very successful School Link facility. Books can be purchased from a brochure which is issued five times a year. For the year 2008/09 we have raised an amazing total of £229.22 which Mrs Young has used to purchase new books for the school.

The success of our Association depends greatly on the support and commitment of parents and we are always looking for new volunteers!  If you would like further information, or would be able to help, please contact the Chair of the Association through the school office.
